Lafourche Parish- La 648 Percy Brown Road Bridge

The Percy Brown Road Bridge (a.k.a. LA 648 Bridge) crossing Bayou Lafourche in Thibodaux, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday May 27, 2019. This closure is required in order to allow the contractor to perform roadway patching on the Percy Brown Bridge. This work is part of an LADOTD construction project, which is currently in the process of installing turn lanes in both the northbound and southbound lanes of LA 308 at LA 648. Outside of the aforementioned closure, the bridge will be under normal operation.
Alternate bridges available for crossing Bayou Lafourche are:
St. Charles Bypass Bridge, 4.8 miles east of the project, and the Jackson St. Bridge, 2.3 miles west of the project.
