US 90 Westbound Frontage Road will be closed on Monday, May 20 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.

This lane closure is necessary to install asphalt on the US 90 Westbound Frontage Road.

Traffic wanting to access the US 90 Westbound Frontage Road from LA 182 will be detoured to LA 96 to St. Nazaire Road where access to US 90 Westbound and the Frontage Road will be maintained.

No lane restrictions are needed.

Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
