ROAD RE-OPENED EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: LA 1072 WASHINGTON PARISH
The water has receeded and the roadway is now opened.
LA 1072, 3.4 miles east of LA 16, is closed due to high water on the roadway. Motorists should avoid this area until further notice.
Eastbound and Westbound motorists may detour to LA 62 as an alternate route.
LADOTD reminds motorists to drive safely and be on the lookout for crews and possible high water over the roadways.
