UPDATE: LA 436 - WASHINGTON PARISH
The water has receded and LA 436 at Dollar Road is now open.
EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE - LA 436 WASHINGTON PARISH
LA 436 at Dollar Road (approximately 1.1 miles west of LA 21) is closed due to high water over the roadway. Motorists should avoid this area.
DETOUR: Eastbound motorists may take LA 62 south to LA 10, east on LA 10 to LA 21, then north on LA 21 to LA 436. Westbound motorists may take LA 21 south to LA 10, then west to LA 62, then north on LA 62 to LA 436.
LADOTD reminds motorists to drive safely and be on the lookout for crews and possible high water over the roadways.
