LA 182 between Albertson Parkway and St. Etienne Road, Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure

The westbound lane of LA 182 between Albertson Parkway and St. Etienne Road in Broussard, LA, will be closed Monday, May 13, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to allow crews to install asphalt on LA 182.
One-way traffic will be maintained on LA 182 during this closure.
Traffic wanting to access LA 182 from US 90 eastbound via the Eastbound Frontage Road will be detoured to Celebrity Drive to Sweetland Avenue to Albertson Parkway where access to LA 182 will be maintained.
Traffic wanting to access LA 182 from St. Etienne Road will be detoured to the westbound frontage road to US 90 where traffic can access the Celebrity Drive detour.
The eastbound traffic on LA 182 will not be affected.
No lane restrictions are needed.
Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to the area.
As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
