RE-OPENED LA 91 (Estherwood Highway) at the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge, Acadia Parish, Bridge Closure

UPDATE: This closure will be RE-OPENED to traffic on Thursday, July 11, at 12:00 p.m. Thank you for your patience.
LA 91 (Estherwood Highway) at the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge will be closed beginning Wednesday, May 15, at 6:00 a.m. until Friday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m., for bridge repairs, weather permitting.
The detour for northbound traffic will consist of US 90 eastbound to LA 13 North to I-10 westbound (Exit 80) and then to Exit 76 – LA 91 Estherwood-Iota.
The detour for southbound traffic will consist of I-10 eastbound to Exit 80 – LA 13 Crowley-Eunice to LA 13 South and then to US 90 westbound.
No traffic will be allowed during this closure, including emergency vehicles.
