LA 44: St. James Parish Line to LA 54 – ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH - STATE PROJECT H.012580

Intermittent and alternating lane closures on LA 44 from St. James Parish Line to LA 54 will recommence Tuesday, April 16, 2019 through Friday, April 26, 2019, daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (weather permitting) while crews perform asphalt paving operations. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone at all times.
PERMIT INFORMATION:
No oversized loads greater than 11’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during work hours.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
Motorists traveling LA 44 east may take LA 3213 north to US 61, then south to LA 54, then south to re-intersect with LA 44.
Motorists traveling LA 44 west may take LA 54 north to US 61, then north to LA 3213, then south to re-intersect with LA 44.
