UPDATE ALL LANES REOPENED: Emergency Lane Closure / US 425 / Morehouse Parish

UPDATE (4/22/19): All lanes of US 425 at the location listed below have been fully reopened to traffic.

UPDATE (4/16/19): Due to the flood waters rising, US 425, at the location specified below , has been reduced to only one lane of travel northbound and one lane of travel southbound.

Permit: With single lane traffic flow per direction, all traffic wider than 10-feet should be restricted.

LANE CLOSURE
Effective immediately, US 425 in Morehouse Parish is restricted to only one lane of travel in the northbound direction at a location 2.5 miles north of the intersection of US 425 and LA 140, near Log Cabin. This lane closure is required due to rising flood waters encroaching into the outside travel lane. At this point, there is no impact to traffic in the southbound direction.

PERMIT/DETOUR
There is no detour route or width restrictions associated with this lane closure.
