UPDATE: This closure has been extended until Sunday, July 14, at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

The I-10 westbound service road bridge between Sidney Road and Bayou Road at Exit 139 – LA 77 (Rosedale, Grosse Tete) will be closed beginning Monday, April 22 at 7:00 a.m. until Sunday, June 23 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to remove the existing bridge grating and install new bridge grating.

Traffic will be detoured to the southern bridge crossing at the intersection of LA 77 (Bayou Road) and Cedar Street.
