US 90 eastbound exit ramp at Exit 115A – Alberston Parkway will be closed Friday, April 12, due to construction on the exit ramp.

This closure is estimated to take place daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic wanting to exit US 90 eastbound should use Exit 115B – LA 182 where access to the eastbound frontage road will be maintained. Traffic will be detoured to LA 182 to the westbound frontage road where access to Albertson Parkway will be maintained.

Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
