Eastbound US 90 (South Claiborne Ave) between Napoleon Ave. and Toledano St., two left lanes will be closed beginning April 9, 2019 at 6:30 am until further notice for emergency waterline repair.
Alternate route - The right lane will remain open.

Emergency Water Repair – S. Claiborne Avenue
For Immediate Release: Monday, April 8 2019
NEW ORLEANS – The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans (SWBNO) on Tuesday, April 9, will be repairing a water main on the eastbound side of South Claiborne Avenue at Louisiana Avenue.
The project will require the closure of two lanes in the eastbound direction of S. Claiborne beginning at Napoleon Avenue and ending at Toledano Street. Only one lane will remain open on the sidewalk side.
Northbound traffic on Louisiana from Toledano to S. Claiborne will be closed completely to all traffic.
The closure will begin at 6:30 am and is expected to last through the remainder of the week.
Please drive safely and avoid that area if possible.
