UPDATE: LA 577 / Madison Parish / Lane Closure

UPDATE: The slope repairs have been made to the location on LA 577, indicated below. The lane closure has been removed, and this location has been restored to full traffic flow. The width restriction of 10 feet associated with this closure can be removed.

Scope of Work
Effective immediately, LA 577 south of Waverly, at a location 0.9-mile south of the intersection of LA 860 and LA 577, will be restricted to one-lane of travel. This lane closure is required due to slope failures along the roadway caused by recent inclement weather. This closure will remain in place until weather conditions improve and the proper repairs can be made to the side slopes.
Permit / Detour Section
No detour is required for this lane closure. Due to one lane of travel, all widths should be limited to 10 feet.
