UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
US 90 westbound on ramp at Exit 115A – Albertson Parkway will be closed beginning Monday, April 8 until Wednesday, April 10, due to construction on the exit ramp.
This closure is estimated to take place daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic wanting to access US 90 westbound should use the on ramp at Exit 115B – LA 182. Traffic from St. Nazaire will be detoured to the southbound frontage road to LA 182 to the westbound frontage road where access to the on ramp at Exit 115B – LA 182 is provided.
Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to the area.
As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
