The LA 328 westbound on-ramp will be closed nightly beginning Monday, April 8, at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 10, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The LA 328 westbound on-ramp will be closed nightly beginning Wednesday, April 3, at 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, April 6, at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary for the opening of the new on-ramp on LA 328.
The detour route for LA 328 northbound and southbound traffic is I-10 eastbound to LA 347 to I-10 westbound.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
