US 90 westbound (Exit 115A – Albertson Parkway/St. Nazaire Road), Lafayette Parish, Lane Closure

US 90 westbound (Exit 115A – Albertson Parkway/St. Nazaire Road) in Lafayette Parish will be closed Friday, March 29, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is to perform road construction on US 90 westbound Frontage Road.
Traffic exiting at US 90 westbound will be detoured to US 90 eastbound where Exits 115A and 115B will provide access to Albertson Parkway and the frontage roads.
Emergency vehicles will NOT have access to the area
As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
