LA 456: 1.7 miles south of its junction with LA 112; Rapides Parish; Road Closure and Detour

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public of an upcoming emergency pipe repair of a failed culvert on LA 456 in Rapides Parish. The location will be repaired on Monday, March 18, 2019. LA 456 will be closed to traffic 1.7 miles south of its junction with LA 112.

All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic at 8:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 and will remained closed until 7:00 p.m.
The detour will be as follows: Northbound traffic will take US 71 North to LA 112 West to LA 456.
Southbound traffic will take LA 112 East to US 71 South to LA 456.
