COMPLETED - DOTD announces upcoming Roadway Maintenance on US 190 from I-49 Interchange to Port Barre, St. Landry Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 21, roadway maintenance will begin on US 190 from the I-49 Interchange to Port Barre in St. Landry Parish.

The work is estimated to take place on Mondays through Thursdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be alternating lane closures in the eastbound and westbound lanes to allow for maintenance crews to perform roadway repairs.

The road will be open to regular traffic.

Oversize loads will be restricted to 16-ft. wide during closure times. All lanes will be open when closure is not in place.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
