Effectively immediately, LA 1252, approximately 0.6 miles south of the Lafayette/St. Martin Parish line, will be closed for emergency bridge repairs.
The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, March 20, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area, except at the actual bridge closure site.
