REVISED: Add on dates
Westbound & Eastbound US 61 (Airline Drive) from Little Farms Avenue (LA 3155) to Williams Boulevard (LA 49) in Metairie/Kenner; alternating lane closures with at least one lane to remain open on Friday, March 8th to Saturday, March 9th and Monday, March 11th to Friday, March 15th from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM; while crews perform asphalt and dirt work; weather permitting.
Alternate truck route is I-10.
These closures will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction/maintenance site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
