LA 182 (Main Street) between Albertson Parkway and St. Etienne Road will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 7, daily, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

This lane closure is necessary to perform road construction on LA 182.

All access points to and from LA 182 (Main Street) will remain open.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
