UPDATE: The closure for the night of Thursday, February 28, is CANCELLED. Thank you for your patience.

Broussard, LA - The outside lane of US 90 westbound between Ambassador Caffery Parkway and the LA 182 overpass, and Exit 115A (Albertson Parkway/St. Nazaire Road) will be closed on Thursday, February 28 and Friday, March 1, to install asphalt adjacent to the exit ramp.

This closure is estimated to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic exiting at Exit 115A will be detoured to US 90 eastbound to Exit 115B to LA 182 to the northbound Frontage Road where access to Albertson Parkway/St. Nazaire Road will be maintained.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
