UPDATE REOPENED: Emergency Road Closure / LA 593 / Morehouse Parish

UPDATE: LA 593, at the location described below, has been reopened to traffic.

ROAD CLOSURE
Effective immediately, LA 593 (Bonner Ferry Road) in Morehouse Parish will be closed at a location 0.3 mile west of the intersection of LA 593 and US 425, north of Log Cabin. This closure is required due to rising flood waters overtopping the roadway. Once flood waters recede, the roadway will be assessed and will be reopened when deemed safe for traffic.
PERMIT/DETOUR
The detour route will be US 425.
