Union Pacific Railroad will close LA 379 south of Joe Spears Rd. (2.25 miles south of US 90 and 2.8 miles north of LA 14) for approximately 11 hours beginning at 8:00 A.M. and ending by 7:00 P.M. Traffic will be detoured around the closure using US 90 and LA 14.

The closures are necessary for Union Pacific to make repairs to railroad crossing.
