2/22/2019: REVISED DATES DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS: ST. TAMMANY PARISH –I-10 LANE CLOSURE
EAST AND WEST BOUND LANES
BETWEEN EXITS 261 AND 263 SOUTH OF SLIDELL
There will be multiple intermittent 20 minute complete lane closures on I-10 Eastbound and Westbound, just south of Slidell, from exit 261, Oak Harbor exit, and exit 263, Old Spanish Trail/LA 433, on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26 AND WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 27, 2019, due to weather conditions, between the hours of 12:00 AM (midnight) and 4:00 AM. This is to allow CLECO to perform power line work.
The road will open at the end of each 20 minute duration so that queued vehicles can be cleared. This will be repeated until the work is completed.
Emergency vehicles will not have access during the closure times. Over-sized loads will not have access.
Detour
East bound motorists are advised to detour via US 90 on the south shore of Lake Ponchartrain, follow US 90 to US 190 to the West towards Slidell where they can access I-10 again.
West bound motorists are advised to detour in Slidell via US 190 East to US 90 west and access I-10 once they reach the south shore.
