UPDATE - REOPENED: Greenwood Rest Area on I-20 eastbound in Caddo Parish
UPDATE: The parking lot construction for this closure is complete and the rest area has been REOPENED. Please be advised that the renovation project continues so be aware of the presence of construction crews and their equipment.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Greenwood Rest Area and Welcome Center along I-20 eastbound (near mile marker 3) in Caddo Parish is temporarily closed for construction activities.
The parking lot is being reconstructed as part of the ongoing renovation project at the rest area. The work is anticipated to last approximatley two (2) weeks, weather permitting.
DOTD will issue a notification when this work is complete and the rest area has been reopened.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
