The right lane of US 90 westbound between Ambassador Caffery Parkway and the LA 182 overpass will be closed due to construction on Wednesday, January 30 at 8 p.m. until Thursday, January 31 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
