The right lane of US 90 eastbound between Celebrity Drive and Ambassador Caffery Parkway will be closed the nights of Wednesday, January 30 and Thursday, January 31, due to construction.

This closure is estimated to take place each night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

All access ramps will remain open.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
