UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, WEATHER PERMITTING.

The eastbound service road bridge between Sidney Road and Bayou Road at Exit 139 – LA 77 (Rosedale, Grosse Tete) will be closed beginning Monday, January 28 until Saturday, February 2, to allow crews to install a containment system and paint the bridge.

This closure is estimated to take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured to the southern bridge crossing at the intersection of LA 77 (Bayou Road) and Cedar Street.
