Albertsons Parkway and US 90 Frontage Road, Lafayette Parish, Intermittent Lane Closures
Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 8:36:45 AM
The outside travel lanes of Albertsons Parkway, between and at its intersections with the US 90 Frontage Roads, will be intermittently closed on Friday, January 18, for short durations of approximately 30 minutes throughout the day due to construction.

This closure is estimated to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
