Intersection of LA 931/Germany Road/LA 44: Intermittent Lane Closures

Construction is ongoing for State Project H.009956 LA 44: Turn Lanes is in Ascension Parish for a length of 1.235 miles. The type of work is clearing and grubbing, grading, drainage structures, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, class II base course, lime treatment, portland cement concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, drilled shaft foundations, traffic signalization, and related work at a cost of $3,501,304.95.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be intermittent lane closures involving the intersection of LA 44 at LA 931/Germany Road on Thursday, January 17th. These closures are necessary in order for the contractor to turn on the new signal at this intersection. The closures will take place between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Flaggers and appropriate signage will be present in order to direct traffic. No oversized loads greater than 10’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during these intermittent lane closures.
