LANE CLOSURE: LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over Red River, Bossier & Caddo Parishes


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, the LA 511 (Jimmie Davis Hwy) Bridge over the Red River in Caddo & Bossier Parishes will be reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge maintenance.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This bridge is located approximately 0.7 miles west of US 71.

Alternate route: This closure will allow vehicles 10 feet wide to pass through the work zone. All larger vehicles must detour to using LA 1, LA 3032 and US 71.

Restrictions/Permits: N/A

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
