LA 176 (Moss Street) northbound and southbound under I-10 overpass will be closed on Wednesday, December 12, for bridge deck pouring.

This closure is estimated to take place from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

The detour for southbound will be East Gloria Switch Road, I-49/US 167 south (Evangeline Thruway), East Simcoe Street, LA 176 (Moss Street) southbound.

The detour for northbound will be East Simcoe Street, I-49/US 167 north (Evangeline Thruway), East Gloria Switch Road, LA 176 (Moss Street) northbound.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in fall 2019.
