ST. TAMMANY PARISH – HWY. 190
INTERMITTENT COMPLETE LANE CLOSURES
There will be multiple intermittent 20 minute complete lane closures on US 190 near the St. Tammany/Tangipahoa parish line near Gottschalk Road on Sunday, December 9, 2018, beginning at 6:30 AM until 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
Should the work need to be extended, it will begin again on Monday, December 10, 2018, at 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
The road will open at the end of each 20 minute duration so that queued vehicles can be cleared. This will be repeated until the work is completed.
This is to enable Entergy to cross the highway with transmission cable for their on-going project of installing a new sub-station in Robert.
Message boards will be posted to warn motorists of the closures in advance and during the closures. Motorists may choose to detour to I-12 via LA 1077 or LA 445.
Emergency vehicles will not have access during the closure times.
