The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, December 3, a bridge repair project estimated at $110,700 will begin on LA 335 to LA 82 in Vermilion Parish.
The work is estimated to take place on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic will be rerouted around the construction area with minimum delays.
The detour will consist of LA 82 north to LA 14 Bypass, west to US 167, south on US 167 to LA 14 Business. North on LA 14 Business to US 167, then north on US 167 to LA 14 Bypass, east on LA 14 Bypass to LA 82 south.
The project will include mechanical repairs to the Old Abbeville Lift Bridge on LA 14 Business and related work.
The project is estimated for completion on Monday, December 17.
