US 90 eastboumd between South Girouard Road and Albertsons Parkway will have alternating lane closures beginning Tuesday, November 6 until Thursday, November 8, due to construction.

This closure will take place nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
