US 90 eastbound, in Broussard, between the LA 182 overpass and Ambassador Caffery Parkway will have alternating lane closures on Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4, due to construction.

This closure is estimated to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
