The inside travel lane of US 90 westbound north of Albertsons Parkway will be closed on Saturday, October 20, due to construction.

This closure is estimated to take place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., weathe permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in spring 2019.
