REVISED – LANE CLOSURES: I-220 & I-49 in Caddo Parish


UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, October 15, 2018, the following I-49 and I-220 intermittent lane & interstate closures from US 71 (N. Market St.) to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave) in Caddo Parish will be in effect:

- Monday, October 15, 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m.
Location: LA 1 westbound on-ramp to I-220 and right lane I-220 westbound (between LA 1 and I-49 northbound ramp)
Reason: placement of permanent pavement marking

- Tuesday, October 16, 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: LA 1 westbound on-ramp to I-220 and right lane I-220 westbound (between LA 1 and I-49 northbound ramp)
Location: I-49 northbound right lane
Reason: placement of permanent pavement marking

- Thursday, October 18, 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 Left eastbound lane and LA 173 on-ramp
Reason: pouring ditch pavement, placement of permanent pavement marking

- Thursday, October 18, 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 Left westbound lane
Reason: placement of permanent pavement marking

- Saturday, October 20, 2018
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 right eastbound lane
Reason: pouring ditch pavement

All of these closures are related to the I-49 Segment K2 project currently under construction in Shreveport.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
