LA 70 EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE @ SUNSHINE BRIDGE in St. James Parish
Beginning October 12, 2018, Sunshine Bridge will be closed to traffic until further notice in both directions of travel. The point of road closure is approximately 6.4 miles South of LA 22.
Detour Information
West bound detour for LA 70 traffic would be to head East on LA 3125 for 13.7 miles to the junction of LA 3213, 6.6 miles South to the junction of LA 3127, then West on LA 3127 for 20.6 miles to the junction of LA 70.
East bound detour for LA 70 traffic is South on LA 3127 for 20.6 miles to the junction of LA 3213, 6.6 miles North to the junction of LA 3125, then West on LA 3125 to the junction of LA 70.
