REDUCED LANE WIDTHS: LA 5 in DeSoto Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, October 22, 2018, travel lanes on LA 5 in DeSoto Parish will be reduced to 10 foot wide lanes. Reduced lane widths will begin 660 feet north of the junction of US 84 to 1,400 feet south of Horn Road, log miles 0.125 to 2.436.

This is the first of three phases for this section. This phase is expected to last 3 months.

This work is associated with the removal of shoulder material and the replacement of soil cement base, stone base, and asphalt.

Restrictions/Permits: Load widths are restricted to less than 10 feet

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
