REVISED - CLOSURES: I-220 & I-49 in Caddo Parish


UPDATE: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the following I-49 and I-220 intermittent lane & interstate closures from US 71 (N. Market St.) to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave) in Caddo Parish will be in effect:

- Tuesday, October 9, 2018
Time:
9:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m.
Location: I-220 Left eastbound and left westbound lane
Reason: paving around guardrail, update interstate signage

- Wednesday, October 10, 2018
Time:
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 Left eastbound and left westbound lanes
Reason: seeding & grading, setting light poles, pavement markings

- Wednesday, October 10, 2018 – Thursday, October 11, 2018
Time:
6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Location: FULL westbound I-220 interstate closure
Reason: pavement work

- Wednesday, October 10, 2018 – Thursday, October 11, 2018
Time:
6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Location: I-49 northbound and southbound – FULL interstate closure from I-220 to MLK Dr.
Reason: pavement work

- Thursday, October 11, 2018
Time:
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 Left westbound lane
Reason: setting light poles

- Thursday, October 11, 2018 - Friday, October 12, 2018
Time:
6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Location: I-49 southbound – FULL interstate closure from I-220 to MLK Dr.
Reason: pavement work

- Friday, October 12, 2018
Time:
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 Left westbound lane
Reason: median grading, mowing

- Saturday, October 13, 2018
Time:
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: I-220 left westbound lane
Reason: median grading, mowing

All of these closures are related to the I-49 Segment K2 project currently under construction in Shreveport.
