UPDATE: This closure has been extended to the nights of Monday, October 8 through Thursday, October 11 from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and on Friday, October 12 from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Thank you for your patience.
I-10 eastbound on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from mile marker 120.8 to mile marker 121.2 (Lake Pelba) will have alternating lane closures on the nights of Wednesday, October 3 through Friday, October 5 from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to setup containment systems for cleaning, blasting and painting the bridge.

The entrance and exit ramps will be open to traffic.
