LANE CLOSURES: I-220 westbound in Caddo Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, the right lane of I-220 westbound from US 71 (N. Market St.) to the I-220 westbound on-ramp from I-49 southbound in Caddo Parish will be closed.

At this time, the I-220 westbound entrance ramp from US 71 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to LA 3194 (MLK Drive).

The closure is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is necessary for the application of permanent striping and pavement markings on I-220 as part of the I-49 Segment K2 project currently under construction in Shreveport.

On Thursday, October 4, 2018, the right lane of I-220 westbound from the I-220 westbound on-ramp from I-49 southbound to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave) in Caddo Parish will be closed.

At this time, the I-220 westbound entrance ramp from LA 173 will be closed. Westbound traffic for LA 173 will need to exit at US 71.

This closure is scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is necessary for the application of permanent striping and pavement markings on I-220.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
