UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

The right lane and shoulder of I-10 westbound on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from mile marker 122.6 to mile marker 121.1 (Lake Pelba) will be closed on the nights of Wednesday, October 3 through Friday, October 5, from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.

This closure is necessary to allow crews to setup containment systems for cleaning, blasting and painting the bridge.

The entrance and exit ramps will be open to traffic.
