OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC MEETING
LA 44: WIDENING AND ROUNDABOUT AT LA 941
ASCENSION PARISH
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) will conduct an open house public meeting for the proposed LA 44 widening and roundabout near the LA 44 and LA 941 (Loosemore Road) intersection, in Gonzales, Louisiana. The project proposes to widen LA 44 to four lanes from approximately I-10 to LA 941 (Loosemore Road) and add a multilane roundabout on LA 44 south of LA 941 (Loosemore Road). The location of the proposed roundabout south of LA 941 (Loosemore Road) has been revised since the previous public meeting for this project.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. Representatives from LA DOTD will be available at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Oral and written comments on the project can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the LA DOTD address shown below, postmarked by October 26, 2018. The public meeting has been scheduled as follows:
