UPDATE - LANE CLOSURE: US 71 (N. Market St.) near MLK Drive in Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Friday, September 7, 2018, the left northbound lane of US 71 (N. Market St.) from Nelson Street to 1,000 feet south of LA 3194 (MLK Blvd.) in Caddo Parish will be closed.
The closure is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. on September 7, 2018 until 6:00 a.m. on September 8, 2018.
Additionally, the first 1,000 feet of the southbound on-ramp from N. Market Street to eastbound I-220 will be closed during the same time frame.
These closures are necessary for the installation of signage and components related to the I-49 Segment K2 project that is currently under construction in Shreveport.
