I-49 north and southbound, including the frontage roads, between Exit 2 - LA 98 (Gloria Switch Road) and Exit 4 - LA 726 (Carencro) will have intermittent lane closures on Sunday, August 26, to allow crews to pull power lines across the roadway.

Delays up to 30 minutes may be expected.

This work is estimated to take place from 6 a.m. until 12 p.m., weather permitting.

An alternate route consist of LA 182 (North University Avenue) from I-10 Exit 101 - LA 182 (North University Avenue) to I-49 Exit 7 - LA 182 (North University Avenue).
