LA 1 Northbound and Southbound between Sid Richardson Road and Dow Gate 4, West Baton Rouge Parish

LA 1 Northbound and Southbound between Sid Richardson Road and Dow Gate 4 will have various lane closures over the next three weeks. These lane closures are necessary to remove the existing abandoned Railroad crossings and repair the road with asphalt. The lane closure schedule is as follows:
• Tuesday August 14 though Thursday August 16th – Left Lane closed between 8:00 pm to 5:00 am in both directions.
• 8:00 pm Friday August 17th through 6:00 am Monday -- Both southbound lanes will be closed to thru traffic. Those traveling southbound will be diverted to the inside (left lane) lane on the north side of LA. 1. Northbound traffic will be restricted to the right lane.
• 8:00 pm Friday August 24th through Monday August 27th -- Both northbound lanes will be closed to thru traffic. Those traveling northbound will be diverted to the inside (left lane) lane on the south side of LA. 1. Southbound traffic will be restricted to the right lane.
• Monday August 27th through Thursday August 30th – Nightly lane closures in both directions.
