The inside lane of US 90 eastbound between Celebrity Drive and Albertsons Parkway will be closed beginning Friday, July 27 at 8 p.m. until Saturday, July 28 at 6 a.m., for roadway construction, weather permitting.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

As part of the Geaux South program, current work underway is related to the $57.1 million design-build project that involves widening US 90 to six-lanes from Albertson Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along US 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads. Work on the project is slated for completion in summer 2018.
