UPDATE!! THIS WORK AGAIN HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO EXPECTED INCLEMENT WEATHER. THE NEW DATES ARE IN THE MESSAGE BELOW.
LA 959, in the Slaughter/Clinton area, between LA 958 and LA 409, will be closed in order to remove and replace the drainage crossing.
The road will be closed beginning at 8:00 am on Friday, August 24th and will reopen by 6:00 am on Monday, August 27th.
The road will be completely closed and no traffic will be allowed to pass through.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to drive with caution through the construction site. Please be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
